Konyalı 1897 founder, great grandfather Hacı Ahmet Doyuran (1st generation), who immigrates from Doğanbey county of Konya in 1895, opened a moderate cook shop with the name of 'Konya Lezzet Lokantası' in Sirkeci, Istanbul with four tables and 16 chairs in 1897. After a while, he hands over the restaurant to his son-in-law Mr. Mustafa Doğanbey(2nd generation).The reputation of first registered Restaurant in Turkey spreads with the efforts of Mr. Ahmet Nurettin Doğanbey (3rd generation) after the 1940's.The 122 year old institution is currently operated by the sons of Mr. Mehmet Eren Doğanbey (4th generation), Mustafa; Tim Eren; Ahmet Can Doğanbey (5th generation).The establishment is honoured to serve families from all over the world.
