The Justice and Development Party (JDP) (Turkish: Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, abbreviated AK PARTİ) Turkish Political Party (Turkish: Türk Siyasal Partisi) The AK Party portrays itself as a conservative party, that advocates a liberal market economy and Turkish membership in the European Union.
