The Sudbury Action Centre for Youth began in 1986 as an employment centre. The centre offered casual labour for people who were recently released from prison. Within a year it became apparent that many of the youth registering for the labour program had shown a need for specialized support, and thus, SACY was born. Today, SACY is a nonprofit, community-minded resource that offers services and programs to help vulnerable populations in our city flourish. We are proud to offer our resources to the community at no cost.
