Sanare Centre (formerly the Southeastern Alberta Sexual Assault Response Committee) offers numerous school education programs, First Responder Training, counselling services, and awareness campaigns. Sanare's mandate expanded in 2020 with the implementation of the region's first Child Advocacy Centre. That work is underway and has expanded the mission of the organization's work beyond sexual assault.Sanare is a member of the Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services (AASAS). AASAS is the provincial governing body that works through its member agencies to ensure that all Albertans have access to services.
