Me.reka Makerspace is an alternative education space that aims to teach the skills of the future to the youth of today, in order to build a talent pool that is resourceful, engaged and informed enough to take on the challenges of the future. Me.reka combines the principles of sustainability with STEAM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) through an engaging, alternative and skills-based approach. All Me.reka's projects are developed in line with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.What we do:1. Me.reka Makerspace is designed and built for you by the team at Biji-biji Initiative, a leading Social Enterprise in Malaysia. After 4 years (since 2013) in sustainable design, production and education, we embarked on this journey to establish the first Me.reka Makerspace in Publika (along with our partners UEM Sunrise) -the first fully integrated education centre in Malaysia.
