In 1982, Mr. Ajaz Ahmad Khan established Ajaz Carpets with his sons Mr. Ishtiaq Ahmad Khan and Sultan Ahmad Khan as Partners. The designs and finishing was the USP and the European markets welcomed the newly formed company with open arms. In no time, Ajaz Carpets became a well-reputed name in the wholesellers circles all around Europe. With success in the wholesale and retail supplies, company got involved in floor covering projects for Hotels and Embassies and with a special team to take care of designs and quality check, the company started providing Custom-Made carpets to its customers through Direct as well as channel Marketing. In 2003, the company entered the Middle-East markets to introduce Indian Hand-Made carpets and very soon became a prominent name in the local carpet industry and this opened a new market for the Indian Carpet Manufacturers. Later Domotex added Dubai as one of the Trade Fair Centre to encourage Trade in this region. Today, Ajaz Carpets is supplying Hand-made carpets to some of the biggest names in the industry. For its efforts in new product development and contribution to the development of the weavers and artisans, Ajaz Carpets has been accredited with various Awards from time to time.
