Accountant at MacDuff International (Scotch Whisky) Ltd - Glasgow, Kentucky, United States
MacDuff International was established in 1992 by Stewart MacDuff, Charles Murray and Ted Thomson. Their vision was to continue the proud tradition of independant Scotch Whisky blenders, offering quality, reliability and most importantly the personal touch in these days of multinational, multi-brand drinks organisations. To this end MacDuff International specially selected three of the oldest blended whisky brands in existence, Grand Macnish, Lauder's and Islay Mist as the cornerstones of the new venture. Based in Glasgow, Scotland, MacDuff can count on an expert team with experienced Scotch Whisky professionals, from directors, right through to production and shipping, offering customers an unparalleled level of support. The consistently high quality of our blends and malts is maintained by master blender Gilmour Burnet, formerly master blender for Johnnie Walker. Today MacDuff International have expanded their portfolio to include a varied range of blended scotch and blended malt, bottled in Scotland or in bulk, and currently export over 4 million bottles a year to over 50 countries. However, our main focus continues to be producing premium quality blended Scotch whisky, and we are sure our illustrious predecessors, Robert McNish and Archibald Lauder, would have approved.
