Over 50 years ago a local family began to foster children with developmental disabilities. As this family grew, Our Lady of the Wayside was established and has grown into a twenty-six million dollar agency that provides services in Cuyahoga, Lake, Lorain, and Summit Counties. Residential services are available 24/7 at more than 90 neighborhood homes. Our Lady of the Wayside provides residential, transportation and day programming services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Individuals served by The Wayside have a variety of developmental disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, behavioral issues and significant physical disabilities.
