Established in a Kent kitchen in 2003, Mufaro's Family Foods was birthed from a quirky experiment in which Albert Mufaro and his wife Majory intended to replicate, for the kids, the traditional African yoghurts they themselves had grown up on. From thereon what they'd produced continued to evolve with knowledge and experience until they conceived MUFARO'S CULTURED MILK. To this very day Mufaro's Family Foods is still a family business run by family in which the core values remain entrenched in honesty and simplicity. As our cultured milk products grew, so did our desire to expand and it was not long before we had moved to Erith, where we are now based. This gave us the opportunity to provide our natural and healthy product to customers from across the whole of the UK. Now our Yoghurts are BRC accredited for the safety of our customers and our 'Best before' dates are laser printed on to buckets to ensure food safety guidelines are adhered by vendors. We have also developed a dairy free variation of our yoghurt, based on Finger Millet, a super grain boasting a wealth of natural health benefits such as the appetite suppressing nature of Tryptophan. Our dairy free variety maintains the prebiotic and probiotic characteristics of Mufaro's Cultured Milk, making it a great way of tilting the balance in favour of good bacteria in your digestive tract. This will ensure that your body is greater prepared to fight infections caused by salmonella and E. coli, as well as disorders like bowel cancer.
