SPAG is one of the leading companies in the manufacture, marketing and distribution of anti-frost and anti-hail systems. In 1972, the Ollivier brothers and the Corballan France company developed a modern shock wave device to combat hail. In 1990 they saw the need to create a radar system that would identify the moment when hail was generated within the cloud and automatically set the equipment in motion. In 2008 a soundproofing system was patented, drastically reducing the noise produced by it. The systems manufactured and distributed by SPAG use pure acetylene gas. This gas is injected into a controlled combustion chamber located at the bottom of the cone, which, mixed with the oxygen in the air, generates an explosion in the form of a blast wave that travels through the device, propagating towards the stratosphere. This system accelerates exponentially the defrosting of the hail. This type of action does not pollute the environment, nor does it influence the trajectory of the cloud, just as it does not displace the hail to other plots. SPAG is present in the main Agricultural, Automotive, Aeronautical and Photovoltaic sectors, offering specific sector solutions for each of them. After more than 45 years of activity, it has consolidated its position as one of the leading companies in services against frost and hail. It currently groups together more than 50 professionals, representing a high turnover with more than 2,000 systems distributed in 25 countries. The SPAG anti-hail system is different from other old systems. We are 100% respectful of the environment, 100% respectful of the natural cycle of the cloud, and 100% respectful of people, agriculture, and fauna.
