In 2012, Artistic Director Alejandro Hernandez-Valdez from Mexico and Executive Director Grace Cho from South Korea founded NOW with the belief that music has the power to connect people and bring communities closer, guided by six values: Collaboration, Representation, Education, Advocacy, Technology, and Experimentation (CREATE).
