South Texas Research Institute is a private clinical research site located in the Rio Grande Valley. STRI conducts primarily phase 2-3 clinical trials in an outpatient setting. Our principal investigator and founder, Dr. Rashmee Patil, is a fellowship-trained hepatologist and board-certified internist. STRI seeks to offer Sponsors collaboration with a genuinely experienced research site comprised of dedicated, impeccably-trained, and uncompromisingly-compassionate staff. STRI also seeks to deliver quality data in a timely manner, remain adaptable by utilizing electronic source through a clinical trial management system, and continually put patient safety at the forefront of our operations by investing in quality assurance infrastructure.Together with our community partners, we seek to improve the health of the citizens of South Texas by bringing our patients cutting edge therapies primarily focused in the field of Metabolic and Liver disease. We also aim to improve representation by increasing enrollment of historically underrepresented minorities in clinical trials.
