Mission: To identify and simplify the implementation of the most effective, sustainable solutions for communities to grow food locally and efficiently convert discarded material into useful resources.Motivation: Locally grown food is fresher and more nutrient rich, free of harmful chemicals, and creates a proven positive net effect on the local economy, as well as, in our opinion, a heightened sense of well being from communities being more involved in the process of food growing. Innovative technologies provide excellent opportunities to reuse waste materials to grow food, preventing them from taking up space in landfills.What's Unique: Pinpointing solutions that make people's lives easier and don't feel like a burden, that we'll all be motivated to implement without guilt or legislation - ones that will stick and have a significant long term impact.Perspective: There are already so many organizations and volumes of disparate information informing us on how to best care take the planet.
