The company Zlatiborac was founded in 1992, with the idea to maintain the traditional concept of production of dry-cured meat products from Zlatibor mountain, through continuous modernization and implementation of modern technologies. The specificity of the region and climatic conditions of Mačkat village, the natural process of drying meat on beech wood, with the use of unique recipes, provided Zlatiborac with the opportunity to stand out in the domestic market, both in the region and foreign markets, such as Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Sweden, Austria.The business process is performed within the modern facilities and equipment of 35,000m², complying with the most important standards and certificates for quality and food safety. The technological process itself is based on the tradition of original methods of preparation, with a great participation of manual work.HACCP, IFS FOOD, EAC standards have been implemented in order to ensure the production is in the function of protecting consumers' rights to a quality and safe product.The quality has been confirmed by numerous awards that the company won. German Agricultural Society rewarded Zlatiborac with the highest marks and medals for quality. In the "Ham and Sausage Quality" competitions, more than 80 medals were awarded for the top-quality products. National Consumer Organization of Serbia gave to Zlatiborac its trust with the recognition "My Choice".The basic goals of the company are to increase the production volume, its share in domestic and foreign markets, to improve quality and safety of products, while preserving the environment.
