Mammoet Ferry Transport was founded in 1983, a division of the heavy transport company ‘Mammoet Transport', owned by Royal Dutch Nedlloyd. It was set up specifically to deal with Continent to UK haulage needs. Starting with two offices located in the Netherlands and England, the company later added subsidiaries in Belgium, Scotland, Germany, France and Austria.In July 2000 the heavy transport parent company ‘Mammoet Transport' was sold by Nedlloyd to van Seumeren Holland. The ferry transport division was transferred into the hands of the Dutch management team through a management buy-out.Today Mammoet Ferry Transport BV operates with a staff of 80 highly motivated employees.
