As a researcher for over 15 years, Alex has managed hundreds of qualitative and quantitative projects, helping clients understand public opinion and developing a strategy for communicating their position on a given topic. This critical research has included corporate brand/image, television program research, media testing, crisis management, and public policy issues such as health care, education, litigation/tort reform, technology, the environment, and energy. Much of her work has been focused on message and brand/image development, not simply monitoring public opinion, but creating messages to defend and promote her client's image and interests on complex public policy issues. In addition to her corporate and public affairs work, Alex has been engaged in domestic and international political research, managing national post-election survey work and various projects on public opinion research in Haiti, Indonesia, and Iraq. Alex also has extensive experience in polling for the news media. For six years she was part of the team that worked on the NBC News/Wall Street Journal National Poll, a flagship survey that is widely regarded as a barometer of American opinion. During her time in Washington, D.C. she frequently appeared on Fox News Channel and was published in The Hill and The Washington Post.
