WHAT IS NADA?We are a design and development firm based in New York City with a distinctive design philosophy. Founded in 2013, NADA has completed over 500 residential and commercial projects totaling more than 300,000 square feet of built space. Beginning with our first residential renovation in Harlem, we have completed projects ranging from commercial facades, to large condominium development. The firm's notable work includes; 187 Prospect Park West development in Park Slope, Bond Street Residence in NoHo, and the Brunswick Cafés in Brooklyn.WHAT SETS US APART?NADA operates on the premise that good design permeates all projects regardless of price or scale. Each project is presented to us as a complex puzzle composed of constraints dictated by code, space, budget, and use. The goal in everything we produce is to take these pieces and assemble them into a compelling whole.WHAT ABOUT OUR WORLD?The impact our projects leave on the world is an integral part of our design process. NADA implements considerate design practices in every building project. This means building with low impact materials, creating an insulated thermal envelope, and using low expenditure fixtures, appliances, and fittings. In building systems, we optimize energy efficiency to lower ecological footprint and reduce operating costs. Through innovative solutions we assess water, electricity, and heating use in buildings and reduce output by an average of 20 percent. We have deployed these solutions in over 75 multi-family buildings around NYC.
