In 2050, there will be almost nine billion people in the world. At Contronics we have made it our mission to provide this ever growing population with fresh and healthy food. We lead the way in the battle against food waste knowing that more than 40% of crops do not end up on a plate.. Contronics makes mist. Enveloped in a blanket of mist, crops stay fresh and even continue to grow…. Imagine this mist working from the moment of harvest right up to when the produce is on the supermarket shelf! In this way, decay and waste of vegetables, fruits and meat can be reduced by over 50%. Produce is not only kept fresh but in a pure and sustainable way. Evaporation of the mist provides free cooling energy which yields a 70% reduction in energy consumption. Once home, the produce remains fresh for longer, retaining its vitamins and nutritional value. Contronics is now market leader with its humidification systems. Each year we make 2,500 systems and 5,000 smaller humidifiers. In 2015 a total of 25,500 humidifying systems were operational worldwide. Together with 34 highly qualified employees and 30 dedicated distribution partners all over the world, we work on our mission to develop and build products which make a positive contribution to a better and more sustainable way of life on earth.
