HEAL Enterprises, LLC (HEAL Fashion) created IV Hoody as a solution to a very personal problem. Our co-founder Cassandra Gray had been fighting Lyme disease, and was receiving regular IV infusions to treat her illness. During these treatments, she was so cold that she would shiver. She would count the minutes until she was done, and could get back outside into the warmth of the sunshine.One day while she was cold and uncomfortable on the IV, she dreamed of a way that she could Drip in Warmth and Comfort. She pulled out a sketch pad, and the idea was born. Once she had her sketch, Cassandra reached out to long-time friend Mayka Choma, a talented seamstress and garment designer, to create the first prototype. Mayka worked full time in the medical field, but spent her free time following her passion of sewing and designing clothes. Mayka's daughter, Alexandra quickly joined the team to share our mission through social media.Our founders shared the same vision - creating beautiful, functional clothing to provide patients comfort and style while undergoing treatments.
