Hi, welcome to Alexas Kitchen,my name is Alexandra, welcome to my world. I was born in Berlin, Germany on September 8, 1970. I currently live in beautiful Naples, Florida with my husband and our little Daisy. You see her running around sometimes in my videos. She is not only our last child at home, my husband and I have 4 together, but also a pet therapy dog and brings a lot of joy to everyone she meets. I hope to share a little bit of the joy I have in my kitchen and give you some ideas of what to make or add a twist to your existing recipes. I believe that food brings people together, sharing food, talking about your day and enjoying a homecooked meal is so important.I am a big fan of fresh herbs. Even if you do not have a garden, you can always have a few pots of your favorites on your window sill. It makes such a difference. Also, never worry if your meal does not come out perfect, some things take a little longer to learn. Hey, I still struggle with my parmesan cheese baskets, ggrrrrrrr. The truth is, the scones will taste good whether they have risen 2 or 2 1/2 inches. He came to me this February of 2017 after his owner lady had passed away 5 years ago and he really didn't have anyone to love. Well, now he has me. And I have him and we are both so blessed. The amazing thing is that I was always afraid of horses because at 12 I got thrown off and it took me till last September, when I turned 46 that I had decided for myself that I had to overcome my fear and start riding again. So, I did. Taking things slow. Very slow. Baci is helping me and I truly think he enjoys my company too. So this is how I spend my time when I am not in the kitchen, loving and playing with Daisy and Baci. So lets roll up our sleeves and have some fun in the kitchen.
