Das Haus Morgenstern befindet sich auf dem Hasenberg in Widen an einmalig schöner Lage auf 700 Metern Höhe. Es wurde am 1. Mai 1963 als Kinderheim eröffnet und ein Trägerverein gegründet.Heute ist das Haus Morgenstern ein Wohnheim für 62 mehrfachbeeinträchtigte erwachsene Menschen mit Beschäftigung, bestehend aus neun Wohn- und elf Beschäftigungsgruppen und bietet als Unterstützung unseren Klienten ein breites Therapie- und Freizeitangebot.Für die Betriebsführung werden über 125 Mitarbeitende, davon 12 Lernende, benötigt (rund 94 Vollzeitstellen).
