Its programs provide the successful model of providing a hand-up approach rather than hand-out charity by utilizing sweat equity, financial education and home ownership skills training. Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio was one of the first affiliates to add home repairs and rehabs to its service menu allowing entire neighborhoods to be transformed.
