After attending Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, Monica worked as a pastry chef and cafe manager for many years. Bloom Bake Shop's signature style mixes her classic training from university and her experience with rustic country style baking from working in Virginia. In the Summer of 2021, Monica's sister Alex and her dad Rich joined her in the business. You can find team Bloom at local farmers' markets and pop-ups in Connecticut.
