Tamerlaine has been providing rehabilitation and exceptional care for abused, neglected, and discarded animals since being founded in 2013. Since then, we have opened our doors to thousands of visitors who want to learn about making a difference for a better future. Tamerlaine rests on a historic 336-acre property dating back to 1774 and is enveloped in beautiful nature, forests, wetlands, ponds, and vast fields. We are dedicated to exemplary care for our rescued farmed animals, meaningful humane education programs for all ages, imperative local wildlife initiatives, and diligent advocacy. We are currently the home to over 200 unique and beautiful rescued animals. In 2020, Tamerlaine will open our new animal care center and our Monarch Butterfly & Native Pollinator Sanctuary. We will also be expanding our barns and pastures to accommodate our current residents and future rescues.
