By providing our local youth with access to free books, we encourage life-long reading to foster the betterment of our community. It is our mission to promote access to knowledge as with it comes the exercising of rights, inclusion in society, and freedom.The Traveling Library became a 501(c)(3) non-profit in April 2021. Coming from a diverse background, our members' experiences range from teaching, local podcasting and news, to publishing. The organization recognizes that through literacy comes betterment of the individual and the community. We hope to share our passion for reading with others and to ignite that spark of creativity. By fostering an environment for continual growth in reading achievements, we create a proud community, ready for success.
