ARMA is the leading trade association for residential managing agents in England & Wales. We promote high standards of leasehold management and professionalism through advice, training and guidance. As of 2021, we have 510+ firms under membership, across five membership categories. ARMA managing agents manage around 50,000 leasehold blocks, totalling around 1.5m leasehold homes, across England and Wales. ARMA members work to high professional standards and must be part of an independent ombudsman scheme. They agree to comply with the RICS ‘Service Charge Residential Management Code' and to abide by ARMA's rules of membership.ARMA's self-regulatory Accreditation regime is a real milestone for consumer protection in the residential leasehold sector. It is based on 180 standards developed specifically for the leasehold property management sector and independent regulation. All ARMA members have to comply with a Consumer Charter and the aforementioned Standards. In addition, we support our members with a comprehensive CPD-accredited training programme, expert advice, technical expertise, networking, and a raft of commercial benefits and professional advantages.
