The Mechanical Engineering Student Society (MESS) is built upon the ideals of university students. MESS understands your requirements - we know that you need work experience to finish your degree and we understand the difficulties associated with finding the right job. As such, throughout the year MESS will provide industry representatives to talk to you about their companies and experiences in the work force. MESS also understands the rigors of university life and the need to blow off some steam. MESS has become an expert in this area with our events becoming extremely popular. The trend continues this year with many events, all held at top Brisbane venues, such as the M.E.S.S. party, where you can come dressed as anything that starts with the letters M, E or S (or S). It must also be mentioned that by becoming a member of MESS you not only become the coolest kid at uni instantly, but you also receive a variety of benefits including discounts on: MESS events, MESS's weekly BBQs, MESS merchandise as well as great deals with the refectories. Don't feel intimidated to join MESS just because you're not a mechanical engineer or feel like you won't be able to party hard enough because you do law; MESS is a society for everyone, including you!
