The Canadian Sport Film Festival (CSFF) brings together the theatre of sport and the medium of film to tell unique, provocative and passionate human stories from around the world. CSFF filmgoers are exposed to the stories beyond the scoreboard, behind the camera and told with a critical lens.Our mandate:- Showcase international films and filmmakers not typically screened or widely available.- Educate, inform, engage and entertain communities throughout Canada using powerful personal and political stories told on film through sport, many of which promote physical activity as a means to achieve long-lasting health benefits to both body and mind.- Provide a safe environment for critical analysis and discussion about stories and themes represented in CSFF films.- Engage youth using film and sport in innovative and collaborative workshops (currently in partnership with the National Film Board of Canada).
