Aduri is a wellness technology company developing products that enhance people's mental well-being through technology. Our first product is a smart meditation system that consists of a smart meditation cushion paired with live-streamed meditation classes streamed to the user's phone, that can be accessed conveniently, at any time. The result is a better experience both for the teacher leading the session and for the students learning and integrating the practice.Our ambient sensing smart cushion has sensors that monitor and track biometrics to learn about the user's sitting meditation habits and progress. If the cushion detects mind-wandering, gentle haptic pulses help guide the user's breathing and focus back to center. Aduri's instructors, that will be streaming their sessions, will have more insight into their students' participation and engagement (opposed to purely subjective visual data) and will be able to jump in and guide the distracted users into a meditative state.
