Print is a dependable, trustworthy, and durable mode of communication that has played an important role in European society for centuries. Thanks to the digital transition, the sector has evolved to be technologically advanced, innovative and future-looking - but improvements can still be made to improve the competitiveness of the sector.The graphical industry in Europe has an annual turnover of approx. 82 billion euros (EU27+UK+NO+CH) made by 112,000 companies (95% SMEs), which employ some 640,000 persons.Intergraf is the European printing industry's dedicated trade association in Brussels, promoting print and sharing information to harness opportunities for the sector. We represent 20 national printing associations from 19 countries, as well as 5 associate members from 4 countries. We work closely with the European Union to promote and protect the interests of the printing and related industries in EU legislation, and to enhance the sector's competitiveness and image through advocacy, information sharing, networking, social dialogue, and EU projects.The Intergraf office is made up of 3 thematic teams:1) European Affairs: Responsible for EU policy and advocacy work, and all other activities supporting the European graphical sector.
