Child Guidance Center's (CGC) mission is to empower children, youth and families to reach their full potential through innovative programs and services. CGC was founded in 1967 as a 501(c) 3 nonprofit by a group of concerned parents and mental health professionals. Our programs and services are provided throughout Orange County, CA at our multiple clinic locations, at Family Resource Centers, as well as in-home and on school campuses as needed. CGC provides a breadth of evidence-based mental health treatment services including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Parent-Child CARE, Teacher-Child CARE, EMDR, and FOCUS. Services include crisis intervention, evaluation, medication management, individual and family therapy, group therapy, parent and teacher education, training of other mental health professionals, and more.
