Our MissionThe University of Arizona Genetics Core for Clinical Services strives to be one of the national leading clinical molecular genetic laboratories in providing safe and high quality molecular diagnostic tests backed by research for every patient and every family.Genetic Testing ServicesUAGC established its Clinical Services unit to support clinical, clinical trial, and clinical research activities, as well as the inpatient and outpatient needs of physicians and researchers. UAGC-CS is CLIA and CAP certified for high complexity laboratory testing involving NGS-based assays. This infrastructure includes a custom software suite allowing for the analysis of patient data and preparation of comprehensive reports to physicians. UAGC-CS has trained staff to meet all clinical standards (HIPPA, GLP, CLIA, CAP) for the processing, tracking, and analysis of clinical patient data. This includes novel bioinformatics pipelines designed to integrate UA high throughput computing for the discovery and/or identification of causative mutations.
