Representing over 300 of the Loop's business, civic, and cultural institutions, CLA is the only organization whose primary role is to promote businesses and lead revitalization efforts specific to the Loop.The Loop's boundaries are the Chicago River to the north and west, Ida B. Wells Drive on the south and Lake Michigan on the east. CLA continues to be the service provider of Special Service Area #1, which includes property on both sides of State Street between Wacker Drive on the north and Ida B. Wells on the south. These services include landscaping, power washings, seasonal decorations, events, marketing and infrastructure maintenance.
