EVALCORP provides highly customized, full-service applied research, evaluation and planning services to government, non-profit and private sector agencies. EVALCORP is known for its methodological expertise, pragmatic approach to meeting client needs, and ability to deliver "actionable" information to organizations and their partners. Our mission is to provide data-driven services resulting in maximally useful information for enhanced project planning, implementation, and outcomes. Specific services include: process evaluation, outcome and impact evaluation, needs assessment, evaluation and data systems planning, survey design & analytics, strategic planning, and training & technical assistance in any of these areas. Dr. Kristen Donovan, a social psychologist with over 20 years of applied research & evaluation consulting experience, founded EVALCORP to make a difference in how organizations integrate data into their work and decision-making processes. Our staff is experienced with the development of evaluation indicators and metrics for evidenced-based programs in the fields of criminal justice, alcohol and drug prevention and treatment, mental health, homelessness, HIV prevention, and children/family services. Many of the programs EVALCORP assesses are evidenced-based, some of which have their own evaluation tools, and others do not. In either case, EVALCORP is accustomed to reviewing existing data collection tools for evidenced-based programs to determine usefulness and fidelity at the local level.
