AlpFoodway is a European project co-financed through the Interreg Alpine Space programme. It involves 14 partners from 6 Alpine countries to build together, for the first time ever, a shared model to safeguard traditional foodways and turn them into assets for sustainable local development. Project activities are aimed at:1) Inventorying and safeguarding the food heritage relevant to Alpine communities2) Looking into the most effective ways to valorise food heritage3) Developing new formats to transmit customs and traditional know how4) Empowering communities and fostering transnational exchanges
