Aldea PJC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing underserved individuals and families in immigration removal (deportation) proceedings with access to high-quality, pro bono legal representation. The name Aldea, which translates to 'village' in English, reflects the holistic approach that Aldea PJC takes in meeting the multi-faceted needs of the immigrant community. Aldea PJC is based out of Reading, Pennsylvania. Aldea PJC advocates work closely with families detained at the Berks County Residential Facility in Leesport, PA, often serving as the first point of contact in the United States for the families detained there.
