Mundwiller Electric was founded by Kenneth G. Mundwiller in 1968 with an ambition to provide quality products and service. Through the years, the Mundwiller family built many relationships with customers and other tradesmen. Many of those relationships still exist today. Current owner, David G. Mundwiller, Ken's son, completed his apprenticeship with his father just as Ken did with his father, Vernon G. Mundwiller, at Mack Electric Inc. The Mundwillers enjoyed great success and growth throughout the 80's, adding a utilities division that specialized in overhead and underground utility installation and renovations, primarily for the Bell Telephone Corporation. Also in the 1980's, Ken and his wife Carolynn opened Bright Ideas Lighting Center. In 1994, DGM Electric, Inc. opened to differentiate the services offered by the Mundwiller family. Currently, David continues his father's legacy with the parent company, Mundwiller Electric, as he trains the companies third generation of electricians and passes on his father's pride and quality of workmanship.
