Since 1974, Hugh Lofting Timber Framing, Inc. (HLTF) has been crafting timber frame homes and structures in its Kennett Square, PA shop. We have been dedicated to energy and design efficiency for over 35 years. The firm has embraced the use of FSC certified timbers and glued-laminated beams, reclaimed and salvaged woods, environmentally aware finishes, structural insulated panels and had Green Advantage Certified employees on staff. We have been key members of a number of LEED project teams. HLTF has designed, crafted and raised timber frame structures throughout the United States but focuses on the eastern seaboard market. Timber framing lends itself to many styles and structures.
