WinSport is a not-for-profit organization, which owns and operates Canada Olympic Park, the Bob Niven Training Centre, the Bill Warren Training Centre in Canmore, and most recently, the Markin MacPhail Centre. Money spent at WinSport facilities supports not only Canadian high-performance athletes, but introduces thousands of Calgarians to winter sport each year. Through WinSport, the legacy of the 1988 Games is not only thriving, but leading edge. The organization built new facilities and operated, maintained and rejuvenated the facilities from the Games and is committed to supporting Canadian athletes for generations to come with the creation of the World's Leading Winter Sport Institute.
