CareGivers America's history began in the 1990s when the founder owned and operated two personal care homes. Despite his best attempts to make his facilities beautiful, he frequently would hear residents wishing they could live at home. In the Pennsylvania market, the company continues to operate as ‘CareGivers America'. In November 2020 Simplura Health Group was honored to announce that it has joined The Providence Service Corporation family, the nation's largest manager of non-emergency medical transportation programs for state governments and managed care organizations.
