The mission of Agape is to empower and support under-served families within its community to discover and embrace their full potential. Agape achieves this mission by offering programs and services providing aid, education, guidance and opportunities to raise the education and income level of the community to break the generational cycle of poverty. Agape is at capacity, serving close to 200 children, providing after-school programming and family services which focus on character development, academic achievement, reading proficiency by third grade, high school graduation and post-graduation placement. High school seniors enrolled at Agape have a 100% graduation rate. Camp for Boys: athletic, health, and wellness-based summer camps for 50 girls and 40 boys annually Camp Jumpstart: a summer early reading program for 30 rising first and second graders The Fresh Produce Family Backpack Program: 100 bags for 100 children The Great Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway: 500 turkeys and at least 1,000 bags of food are give to the surrounding community every year The Agape Holiday Store: 400 children served annually with an estimated amount of 1,500 toys donated
