Established in 2004, Amandara of Bali produces traditionally-influenced high-end design for residential and commercial projects. Inspired by the island's innate beauty and spurred by the enduring artisanal spirit of tropical life, our approach to hospitality interior design and architecture is cohesive and organic. There's a philosophical basis underpinning the conceptual design of each of our projects, so our creations are organic, authentic, alive, and they have an enchanting story to tell. Drawing our name from the Sanskrit word for "heaven", our ethos is to harmonize with the environment, so each one of our masterpieces is an oasis of tranquillity immersed in lush natural surroundings. Fortuitously located in Bali, ‘The Island of the Gods', we seek to achieve harmony between indoor design and natural outdoor splendour, balancing the ornate woodwork with practical and space-enhancing layouts. Every one of our bespoke projects is laden with locally sourced hand-carved wood. Doors, wooden posts, beam structures, louvres, sculptures, decorative wall panels, patio furniture, bars, porch railings, and everything else that goes into the making of a feature-filled property, from wine storage in the basement to ornate finials on the roof. All our curated creations boast a cohesive and tasteful look, infused with the distinctive style of indigenous craftmanship, but also reflecting our clients' personal style. Some of the commercial properties supplied by us, such as the Kaba Kaba Estate, fetch four-figure prices per night. Private estates like the Hawaii Residence, currently on the market for nearly US$ 20 million, also use our signature fusion of Balinese vernacular and functional style.
