The mission of Easterseals UCP is to create opportunities, promote individual choice, and change the lives of children and adults with disabilities by maximizing their individual potential to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Our core values - Integrity, Respect, Responsibility and Innovation - guide everything we do. We want to be a lifelong partner to individuals and families managing disabilities and mental health challenges. We work side-by-side with people with developmental needs and their families, providing a broad network of specialized services. Whether providing early intervention and inclusive childcare, helping secure housing and transportation, ensuring proper healthcare access or assisting getting and maintaining a job - we provide the support they need to achieve better days. However challenging the journey, Easterseals UCP is there every step of the way. Last year, we delivered over 9 million hours of help to 20,000 individuals and their families across North Carolina and Virginia.
