The mission of the American Association of Doctors of Behavioral Health is to set and enforce ethics, standards, and safe evidence-based practices for integrated behavioral health. Promoting innovations in healthcare and the healing arts for higher quality patient care delivery, service, and improved, efficient and effective population health. In short, at the AADBH, we Innovate, we create, we integrate, and. we elevate. Following the quintuple aim, our organization helps individuals in integrated behavioral health care to improve care, better care, lower costs, increase and improve patient and provider satisfaction, and ensure healthcare equity for all. The AADBH has a vision to be a unifying entity, guide, and distinguished association, that assists integrated behavioral health practitioners throughout their professional lives. Our organization will set the standards, ethics, and practice of individuals with integrated behavioral healthcare degrees. We are striving to have clear paths to licensure for integrated behavioral healthcare professionals, as well as guiding those who would like mental health licensure to the appropriate organization(s). The AADBH will assist practitioners with growing their independent medical education practice, integrated behavioral healthcare business, integrated psychological practice and more. The AADBH strives to be an organization that represents those practitioners who are Doctors of Behavioral Health or other Integrated Behavioral Healthcare professionals. In the future, we will be a strong accrediting body. We will continue to work hard to embody the values of innovation, creativity, collaboration, inclusivity and diversity, accountability, excellence, and recognition for all members of our association.
