We are a FIRST Robotics Competition team from Davis California. We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition which is a national robotics competition fielding over 2,700 high school teams throughout the United States and the world. Our sponsors are listed on our website, with sponsorship levels ranging from $500 to $10,000. https://www.citruscircuits.org/sponsors.htmlOur team strives to reach out and encourage STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education in our community, primarily through our student-led outreach groups. These outreach groups focus on using our technical skills to help individuals and groups in our community, as well as inspire students to get involved with STEM. We have started more than 75 VEX IQ teams and mentored another 60 in the past two years and worked with students at summer camps held by UC Davis. One of our proudest accomplishments has been starting and mentoring other local FRC teams; in Yolo and Sacramento County. We assist other FRC teams worldwide through The Compass Alliance program endorsed by FIRST. We also have an in-competition technical support program, Citrus Service, staffed by our student members. Programs we host outside of FIRST include our Diversity in STEM initiatives, summer RoboCamps, Shelter Finder app, and our booth at our local Farmer's Market.
