Domestic Workwear LLC exists to bring apparel manufacturing jobs back to America and more specifically to the city of Chicago and the Midwest. By means of developing an original clothing line, connecting other clothing labels with domestic factories and creating wider consumer awareness about the benefits of voting with the pocketbook for local and regional manufacturing.Longer term goals include reducing the energy footprint in the supply chain, investing in new technologies, helping to halt the widespread and pernicious use of toxic dyes, pilot programs for sustainable and scalable fibercrop agriculture both urban and rural, and participating in community and government training programs to help get more people jobs.
