Boys and Girls Clubs of South Coast BC (BGC) serves more than 1,000 kids a day and over 12,500 children, youth and families annually. Celebrating 80 years in the community in 2016, BGC provides support through sports, homework clubs, creative arts, healthy food, leadership development and safe access to the online world. The organization also offers substance-abuse counselling, employment services, and early years and parent programs.To kids, their Club feels like a place where they can be with their friends, and make new ones. But it's so much more. It's a safe place that provides them with three of the things they need most: a sense of belonging, a sense of success, and positive relationships.
