Home to "Alaska's Best Putting Greens" and "The Valley's Premier Outdoor wedding Venue." Settlers Bay Golf Course houses The Albatross Restaurant in its open timber framed clubhouse wrapped with ample deck seating to take in Alaska's grandeur of snow capped mountains and flanked by cook inlet and our own manicured golf course. The Albatross Restaurant is also the Valley's star venue for those outdoor games of Crocket, Bocce Ball, Giant Jinga, and Corn Hole. Weather you are here to play on Alaska's Best Putting Greens, to relax and let us do the cooking, or enjoy the fun of the Matanuska-Susitna Valley's best backyard venue of games Settlers Bay Golf Course has you covered. The golf course is a par 71, 18 hole layout that was originally built as a 9 hole facility in 1977. In 1995, 9 additional holes were added to complete the 18 layout. It is the Matanuska-Susitna Valley's oldest golf facility in operation today. We offer 5 sets of tees to accommodate all skill and abilities. The course is serviced with a full service pro shop for Alaska golf souvenirs, quality equipment from Titleist, Ping and others, or any loose items you forgot. If conditions are a priority for your enjoyment of the game of golf we suggest you look no further than the "Home of Alaska's Best Putting Greens." The Albatross Restaurant prides itself on using local ingredients whenever possible. Catering "The Valley's Premier Outdoor Venue" for the most elaborate ceremonies, business lunches, or expediting your hunger at the turn, we cover it all. With the best deck in the valley to take in Alaska's splendor and enjoy our backyard games, our patio also takes off the evening chill with fire pits to extend your relaxation into the evening hours.
