Take a moment and picture a compass. You know, the good old-fashioned kind with an analog face and all the notches for direction, all 360 degrees painted in. You have it? I immediately think of the compasses we used in summer camp. Black and white, handheld, with the magnetic North always managing to fascinate.Now think of yourself at the center of this compass. Picture the events, some good, some bad, some in your control, some not, that makeup who you are. No matter what your age, those events set you up to travel a path, a direction, from the center of the compass outward. For example, some of us are heading North northwest along the 5-degrees course while others head due West at 270. And these are the paths, the directions, of our lives.BUT WHAT IF…as you travel your single direction out from the center of this compass, you make intentional changes and begin to control more and more of your outcomes.When you're closer to the center of that compass, every one of those 360-degrees is right next to each other, and a tiny change from 170 to 171 degrees can feel insignificant. But if you look at that change over a lifetime, that same small change, even just that one change, means you're leading a completely different life!For us, there's nothing in life more exciting than guiding others on how to be intentional in making those tiny changes and learning to control personal outcomes. It's brilliant to participate in helping create customized plans so people can realize their dreams. All it takes is an intentional, deliberate, and tiny step to the right or the left of where you are now.....and your off on a brand-new life path full of wonder, joy, fulfillment, health, and hearty challenges.
