Founded in 1925 as the Visiting Homemakers Association, VHA Home HealthCare (VHA) – a not-for-profit, charitable organization – provides 24/7 health care and support services to people of all ages and cultural backgrounds when, where and how they want it. We offer high-quality, multi-lingual care to people throughout Ontario to support a more independent life.Our caring team of professionals provides nursing, rehabilitation, personal care and home support services to people who need help at home, school, work or long-term care facility. Many of these services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.But VHA strives to do more. We inspire our staff and service providers to bring more to their work with responsive, skilled and compassionate care.As a charitable, not-for-profit organization, we also deliver more to our communities through innovative and invaluable programs that help those who couldn't afford support otherwise.VHA Proudly meets the national standards of excellence in health care set out by Accreditation Canada.
